Sobriety Engine

Founded by the creators of Sober Nation as a private and inclusive online sober community, Sobriety Engine is a support group and sober social network platform to provide on-the-go accountability and help maintain your sobriety wherever life may take you.

At Sobriety Engine, we have one mission:

To help you find community, connection, and resources to grow your sobriety and help you address roadblocks that come with life.

Growing in Sobriety Requires Growing With Others that Are Doing The Same Thing.

Through the years, with the devastating opioid epidemic, new evidenced-based research on addiction, and the COVID-19 pandemic, the scope of addiction has changed.

It also means the scope of recovery has changed.

What was once filled meeting houses has now changed to alternative ways of getting sober, virtual meeting rooms, and so much more.

The one thing that hasn't changed?

The need for community, connection, and growth.

And if you're looking for a community to challenge self-limiting beliefs, address past hurts, hang-ups, and grow in your self-worth and sobriety, you've come to the right place.

The Three-Legged Stool

At Sobriety Engine, we believe that recovery requires three components - similar to that of a three-legged stool. Without one, you're sure to lose your balance.

Awareness

Becoming aware of our tendencies, cognitive distortions, weaknesses, values, interests and how we respond to situations is one of the pivotal foundations of addiction recovery and good mental health in general.

Our mission is to help you become aware of each of these by giving you a space to explore, learn, and connect.

Acceptance

Acceptance opens your heart to the realities of your newfound awarenesses and also the ways in which you may be impacted by your past. This ultimately means you don't fight against the realities of your life, but accept them and use them as a vehicle to grow move forward.

Acceptance is a process. We help you walk through that path, even when you don't even know where to begin.

Accountability

Accountability requires being responsible for your actions. This means having someone else as a sounding board to hear your struggles, support your goals, and process new awarenesses. When you're feeling triggered, rather than turning back to substances, you can use this person or group of people to find acceptance, and bring forth hope.

We give you an entire community of accountability to lean on from all around the globe.

Recovery Has Never Been Easier

Sobriety Engine was founded by two of of the dedicated professionals at Sober Nation. For the past ten years, we've helped countless individuals receive life-saving recovery resources while helping them through struggles. We've have watched them come through the other side with a story to tell and hope to give.

So let us help you out. We'd love to take you by the hand and get you acclimated to our community that will help you create new meaning in your life, based off your goals and specific experiences.
